Ethics and Integrality

All articles submitted to the journal must follow ethical precepts, and it is compulsory to send a copy of the approval of the Ethics Committee for research involving human beings and the approval of the Ethics Committee for the use of Animals, in the case of research involving animals. Experimental or theoretical research carried out with Brazilian genetic heritage must be registered with the National System for the Management of Genetic Heritage and Associated Traditional Knowledge (SisGen).

The journal adopts the code of ethical conduct described by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Clinical trials must include the clinical trial approval number.
