This paper aims to analyze the disruption caused by Pix in the Brazilian financial system, highlighting its impacts on the digitization of payment methods and financial inclusion. Created by the Central Bank, Pix has become the most widely used payment method and has become part of the daily life of a large portion of the Brazilian population, playing a key role in democratizing access to fast and free transactions. The existence of 858 million registered keys in June 2025 and the movement of approximately 6.4 trillion reais in the first half of 2024 illustrate its relevance in the country compared to other payment methods such as cash, checks, DOC, TED, and cards. The study concludes that, despite challenges related to fraud and scams, as well as the need for internet access and familiarity with digital technologies, Pix represents a profound transformation in the Brazilian financial system, changing the way financial institutions operate and how financial services are accessed and used in Brazil
