
Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. If this is not the case, an explanation must be provided in the Comments to the Editor field.
- Complete authorship information for all authors must be entered during the submission process. Use the “Add Author” function to include all co-authors.
- All metadata must be provided in English, including the title, abstract, and keywords.

Figures and tables must be embedded within the manuscript and not placed at the end of the document. Figures, graphs, equations, diagrams, and other illustrations must be of suitable publication quality, use a white background only, and be prepared at consistent dimensions to allow uniform resizing (maximum single-column width: 8 cm).
Scanned images must have a minimum resolution of 800 dpi (bitmap).
- For research involving human participants or vertebrate animals, authors must upload, as a supplementary file, a copy of the approval issued by the appropriate Research Ethics Committee, including the corresponding Certificate of Presentation for Ethical Consideration (CAAE) number, where applicable, and in accordance with the legislation of the country in which the research was conducted.
- All references cited in the manuscript must also be entered in the submission metadata in alphabetical order, without numbering, leaving one blank line between each reference.
Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles should not exceed 20 pages, including tables, figures, text boxes, and references. Manuscripts should demonstrate a significant contribution to the field, a sound theoretical foundation, an appropriate methodology, and rigorous analysis and interpretation of the results, in accordance with the journal's editorial guidelines.
Review Articles
Review Articles should not exceed 30 pages. Whenever possible, references should primarily include literature published within the previous five years. Depending on the nature and specific characteristics of the topic, references published within the previous ten years may be accepted when appropriately justified.
Case Reports
The journal accepts original Short Communications and Case Reports that provide a relevant and original contribution to their respective fields.
These manuscripts should not exceed 15 pages, including tables, figures, text boxes, and references. They must present an appropriate theoretical foundation, a clear methodological description (when applicable), adequate contextualization of the case, and a critical discussion based on the current scientific literature, while maintaining scientific rigor and compliance with the journal's editorial guidelines.
