Personal and professional burnout among healthcare workers has intensified in recent decades, driven by increasing performance demands, work overload, and difficulties in balancing personal and professional life. In this context, identifying and systematizing coping strategies becomes essential for promoting mental health and well-being among these professionals. This study aimed to identify effective strategies for coping with burnout in healthcare workers. It is a systematic review registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251026207) and conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute and PRISMA-P guidelines. Searches were performed in national and international databases without restrictions on language or publication period. Studies involving healthcare professionals were included and analyzed using JBI-specific appraisal tools. A total of 1,169 studies were identified, of which 29 comprised the final sample. The main strategies identified included mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation practices; positive psychology interventions such as gratitude and self- compassion; organizational strategies, including workload adjustments and institutional support; digital resources, such as chatbots and online courses; and self-care practices, including leisure activities and healthy habits. It is concluded that no single strategy is sufficient to address burnout. The most effective approaches involve a combination of individual, organizational, and digital interventions, along with the promotion of self-care. These findings highlight the need for integrated and sustainable programs that consider both individual agency and institutional co-responsibility.
