Diretrizes para Dossiê temático
The Educação em Análise Journal seeks to bring together researchers from various Graduate Programs in Education across the country, promoting interactions with both national and international academics. These interactions result in investigations related to themes, objects, and issues in the field of Brazilian Education. The publication of thematic dossiers is a strategy to achieve this objective.
Modalities of Dossiers:
Modality 1: Dossier proposed and organized by the Editorial Team.
All decisions are made by the Editorial Team, including the definition of the theme, monitoring, and editorial procedures.
Organizers may be invited by the Editorial Team, if necessary.
Modality 2: Dossier proposed by the scientific community.
Accepts two types of proposals:
1 Theme proposed and dossier organized by researchers in the field.
Organized by three researchers from different institutions, one of them of Brazilian nationality.
Organizers act as guest editors, responsible for various stages, from the call for articles to the final approval for publication.
2 A complete proposal must contain the theme and summaries of the articles from invited authors.
Organizers must present a justification, summaries of the articles, mini-curricula of the authors and the proposers.
The proposal undergoes the regular evaluation process, with the possibility of being considered for publication.
General Guidelines for Thematic Dossiers:
1 Each dossier must contain between eight and fifteen articles, with regional diversity and at least one article from a foreign author.
2 Articles affiliated with UEL should not exceed 20% of the total.
3 The articles must contribute to deepening the theme, presenting theoretical-methodological, temporal, and spatial diversity.
4 The Guidelines for Authors must be followed, including the specified word count.
5 Articles may be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, with linguistic revision required for foreign languages.
6 Articles that are not included in the dossier due to regional criteria may be considered for the section of free articles in future issues.
7 The organizer may submit an article but will not manage the evaluation process for that article.
Submission Process:
Proposals must be submitted for exclusive evaluation by the Editorial Team of Educação em Análise.
The journal will prepare the call, opening the submission process to the academic community.
Interested parties must submit manuscripts exclusively through the system and monitor the evaluation process.
These guidelines aim to ensure the quality and relevance of the thematic dossiers published by the Educação em Análise Journal, promoting collaboration among researchers and the diversity of perspectives in the field of Brazilian Education.
