Death visited through oral memory in Ponciá Vicêncio

Abstract

Ponciá goes inside the family losses in different ways. To verify how these losses are perceived on the text from Conceição Evaristo - Ponciá Vicêncio starts to be important to understand the story's movement and the enunciator's pace in the book. With full words, the main character visits, in many moments and with different ways, her own life between many symbologies, as: the likeness with her grandfather, stories told by the community's "griot", her non-official education and by the oral memory.
